Steak & Shrimp Diablo

Hey guys.

I know this is becoming a reoccurring theme, but I’m late again, with this message. Unlike usual, where I’m late because I wasted a bunch of time screwing around, this time I’m late because we were really busy this morning and I’m just now even getting the chance to stop and take a second. Just in time to write this message and then get right back into dinner service. Plus, I have a final, tonight. So, you know, go me….

The special tonight is Steak & Shrimp Diablo. We used to do this on our menu for a bit, and we had a few people ask us if they could have it, so we figured we’d run it out for a special so people can get it, again.

Tuesday is today. And that’s it.

Wednesday, we’ll be doing a cocktail tasting featuring a Peach-Champagne Sparkler, a Strawberry Basil Mojito and Pineapple Margaritas. Thus continuing our run of summer cocktails to shield you from the sun (or make you not care about it, I guess).

Thursday’s Wine Tasting will be all Rioja. I thought about doing strictly Spanish wines, in a general sense, but this is gonna be more fun. Everybody loves Rioja, and I’ll find some noticeably different ones. I believe I’m going to do 1 White Rioja and 3 Red Rioja. And with the Red Rioja, I will try to find some with different grape combinations and different aging levels and all that jazz. As always, I’ll let everyone know more details later, but Thursday’s wine tasting is ALL RIOJA WINES.

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to go scream into the void and then get back to work.
