I feel like I always say this, but I don’t have a ton of time to do the message, today, so it’ll be short. Either I’m a very very busy man or a very very lazy man. I’ll leave it to you to be the judge. To be fair, school just started, so I think I have a reasonably valid excuse, this time. Also, because I just started back up with school, expect to hear a lot of generic grumbling about Calculus et al.
We’re now taking reservations for our Valentine’s Wine Dinner. Call to make your reservations for either Thursday, February 14th or Friday, February 15th. Rob is finishing the menu, as we speak, so I’ll post a separate message specific to that. But you just know it’s gonna be killer. It always is. And once I have his menu, I’ll put together a wine tasting to match. Anyway, you guys know how it is with Valentine’s Day, we almost always fill up both days to the max, so if you already know you want to do it, go ahead and make a reservation. Inevitably, we always have a few people who want to come but can’t because we’re full. Just trying to give everyone a head’s up. 817-281-9500.
The special this week is Seared Scallop and Shrimp Penne Vodka. We don’t do pasta specials all that frequently, so get it while you can, if you’re a pasta fanatic.
Wednesday’s cocktail specials will be Bourbon Based. I’m going to three different $7 Bourbon cocktails, that way anyone who missed the Bourbon Dinner last week can still have a taste of Kentucky.
Thursday’s Wine Tasting will be something simple to get me back in the swing of doing them, because it’s been so long. So let’s go with….Washington State wines. Simple, elegant and just a little juicy.
Lastly, Bizzi’s Cellar is moving tastings to the first Saturday of every month, so that it’s easier to keep track of for everyone. The next tasting will be on Saturday, February 2nd at 4:00pm.
Wish us all luck!
