Rhone Valley Wine Tasting and Schnitzel

Hey, guys.

I am sorry to send this out a day late, but I was waiting on some information from Rob. I have it now, and so I magnanimously share it with you. Let’s get straight to it!

The special for this week, in keeping with our Oktoberfest German Celebration, will be Schnitzel!

Wednesday’s Cocktail Special will be “listen to your bartender” specials. I did it a few weeks ago and some people missed it and expressed interest trying it. Who knows if they’ll show up to try it, tonight, but I figured I’d give them another shot at it. Basically, you come in and ask for a cocktail special and I make you a drink based on what I think you’ll like. I’m usually fairly good at it, so give me a shot.

Thursday’s Wine Tasting will feature all Rhône Valley wines. I’ll send out the tasting notes tomorrow, but I wanted to give you a little heads up. We should be featuring a cool Viognier, a really nice Cotes du Rhône Rouge, a Gigondas and a Chateauneuf du Pape. They’re all rated really well and they’re all good wines, regardless of what the ratings are, anyway. Come get a little taste of southern France.

Don’t forget to call and make a reservation for our Fall Night To Remember Wine Dinner on Friday and Saturday, November 1st and 2nd. I’m working on the wine notes (waiting on a wine rep to finish sending me the wines) and I’ll send them out the second I finish them. Thanks for being patient with me.

That’s all I got.

See you soon.
