Given the amount of news that I have to share, I’m going to split this message into two different messages. Today’s message will be the usual stuff and tomorrow’s message will be the extra stuff (which I will give you a bit of a heads-up on today). There’s too much information for me to blather on for ages, so I’ll dispense with the pleasantries and just launch into it. Although, I will mention that you guys shouldn’t forget that we posted the November Fall Night to Remember Wine Dinner Menu last week and we are taking reservations for it, now.
This week’s special will be Beer Brautwurst with Braised Cabbage and a 9-Grain Mustard. October is here and we are again celebrating by doing an entire month of Oktoberfest Specials and such. Some of you may remember that we did this every October back when Heather was our chef and we thought that it was such a fun idea that we should do it, again.
With that in mind, instead of doing a martini flight on Wednesday, we’re going to do an Oktoberfest Beer Tasting. I’ll post the specifics tomorrow, but you can come in and do, much like the wine tastings, a tasting of 4 different German Oktoberfest beers….from Germany.
Thursday’s Wine Tasting will be Italian Wines. We are doing two reds, a white and a sparkling. I’ll post the notes as soon as the wines show up and I can confirm that I won’t be lying to you. But if they ship the ones I ordered, they’re all really good. Especially the Franciacorta. So, if you’re interested in Italian Wines, come on down. Also, I should note that I will do a German Wine Tasting sometime this month to celebrate Oktoberfest, but I didn’t wanna hammer you guys with that over and over again.
Anyway, I’ll let you guys know about all the other stuff tomorrow (which will include the Fall Night to Remember Wine Tasting and the new Fall Lunch and Dinner Menu for Bizzi’s) and as such my plan will be fully complete…mwahahahahahah!
