First and foremost, I’ll do another reminder for the Fall Night To Remember Dinners on November 2nd and 3rd. I have 4 of the 6 wines picked out, and I’ll get the last two picked this week. We’re going to have a nice cross-section of wines from around the world. I won’t get too weird on y’all, but I am using one spot for a wine that no one would ever think to try, but really should.
Because of the weather, everything this week is crowd-pleasing. Gotta do something to get people out of their houses in the rain. As such, this week’s special is Bacon-wrapped Filet with Shrimp. How much better can it get than that? The answer is….not much….
Tuesday Boozeday is tonight, with $7 Pinot and Sauvignon Blanc, House Cocktails, Wings and Burrata.
Wednesday’s Cocktail Specials will all be variations on coffee-based drinks. Now, not all of them will be hot, so you don’t have to worry about that, but it’ll complement the rain nicely. I know the Polar Bear has been asking me for Drunk Coffee’s more and more, lately.
Thursday’s Wine Tasting will be ALL NAPA VALLEY WINES. 3 Reds and a White. All rated above 90 points and all easy drinkers. The usual suspects will be represented, as far as varietals go, and we’ll pour a little heavy for you guys to thank you for coming out.
Mom’s not here, so let’s just assume she doesn’t have anything to say about the cellar and pretend I tried looking for her.
See you soon!
