Happy Easter!

Hello, Peeps (get it?), how goes it?

I’m going to keep this short and sweet, this week, because we are splitting time between actually doing work and planning for Easter. I’m sure we’re not alone in our multi-tasking. So, rather than take up a bunch of your time, I’ll get right to the point.

The special for the week is Chicken Marsala with a House-made Rosemary Marsala Sauce.

Tuesday Boozeday is, as usual, a good night to come in and have a house cocktail, glass of red or white, brie en croute, fried cheese or wings for $7. It’s a little rainy tonight, but we’ll pour you something that’ll dry you right off.

Wednesday’s Celebrating Spirits will be Raspberry Drinks in celebration of Spring and berries and….stuff. Come in for $7 Raspberry Margaritas, Raspberry Mules and Raspberry Texas Roses. Or, if you think of something you’d rather have with fresh raspberries, feel free to let me know.

Thursday’s Wine Tasting will be all Syrahs. I’m not sure I’ve ever done a strictly Syrah tasting. I don’t know how people feel about it, but it’s one of my favorite varietals. Something about the combination of elegance and strength, with just a touch of the rustic. If you’re not entirely familiar with Syrah, or you just don’t drink many of them, I’d recommend you come in and try it. It’s a grape that everyone should keep in their wine rotation, and there’s great examples from all over the world. You will get a shot to taste Syrah from multiple different countries.

For The Bizzi’s Cellar Dwellers, there is Cellar Tasting on Saturday, March 31st, from 3:00pm-5:00pm, and Elaine will answer any questions you have about what she’ll have available to taste. See you then.
