Great week at Bizzi’s!  Friday & Saturday evening, we will be featuring favorites:  Cioppino (a classic seafood stew with fresh shrimp, swordfish, mussels, and more) and Fresh Mussels.  Delicioso (note my clever handling of Italian)!

Fourth Anniversary Dinner:  Saturday, June 6th, $60 per person.  Five courses, all hand-cut and hand-crafted…and live music.
Tuesday/Wednesday evenings: $7 red/white wine or featured martini.
Also, special shout out to Jerry, who didn’t think we’d be able to get his favorite scotch.
Well, we now carry Edradour 10, from the smallest distillery in Scotland.
Rock, roll, rinse, & repeat.

Cornbread Stuffed Pork Loin

It’s Mother’s Day Week, and I love my mother! She’s a pistol, but can’t imagine my life without her (very) firm guidance, unconditional mother-lioning, and protective care. Bottom line: she is simply the best. At Bizzi’s, Wednesday through Saturday night we will be serving up a meal worthy of all Moms out there (Dads, too, and also those who are children of Moms and Dads): Savory Cornbread Stuffed Pork Loin with Maple Butter Glaze, Sauteed Baby Bella Mushrooms, and Creamed Spinach.

Glass of Red or White Wine or our Featured Martini: Cucumber Gimlet — $7 Tuesday & Wednesday evening.

And if you haven’t, get a reservation for our Fourth Anniversary Dinner celebration to be held on Saturday, June 6th — the menu’s on-line

Happy Mother’s Day to you Moms out there!

From The Hive:

We will continue to feature Lamb Chops with Mint Jelly served with Garlic-Parmesan Mashers and Sauteed Asparagus this weekend (Friday & Saturday night). I will order and eat it again — probably Friday AND Saturday.

Live Music from Jan Ryberg this Wednesday evening — don’t miss his totally irresistible classical guitar melodies — you won’t be able to stop your toes from tapping. If you’re lucky, I won’t sing along to the music.

A glass of red or white wine – $7 on Tuesday & Wednesday evenings. And…we have Bucheron Cheese again — Killer.

Nice wines by the glass as well, with specials on Tuesday & Wednesday evening.

Coconut Shrimp

Who would think that at my advanced age, I can still learn something? Well, I now know that after five cruises in five months, it’s time to take a little breather, so here I am with feet firmly planted in Bedford, Texas.

We also have released the new Spring Menu.

In other news, we have a Coravin! For those who don’t know what that is, it’s a contraption that allows us to pour wines without opening the bottles, and thereby lets you try wines by the glass that otherwise you couldn’t without buying a bottle. So…every week we’ll be offering some terrific and interesting wines by the glass as well as our usual nice selection of wines.

Tuesday & Wednesday evening we are pouring a glass of red or white wine or a well martini for $7 just like always.

And this weekend (Friday & Saturday evenings), we are celebrating Spring-For-Sure-Now featuring Coconut Shrimp Topped with Tangy Honey-Chili Glaze alongside Herbed Rice Pilaf and Seasonal Veg.

Hope to see you this week!

For the weekend (Friday & Saturday nights), we will be featuring Crab-Stuffed Salmon with Sauteed Spinach & Lemon Buerre Blanc. Lip-smacking good!

As my grandson said when he was learning to read, “Keep Clam and Carry On”.

Daffodils are blooming all over my yard! I can only conclude that spring surely must be around the corner.

This weekend, we’re featuring Beer-Braised Beef Short Ribs with Mashed Butternut Squash & Potatoes. Still needing comfort food until it warms up a bit!

Also, a glass of red or white wine (or a well martini) for $7 Tuesday & Wednesday nights!

Lastly, Michael has gotten a bevy of new wines in, and they are unspeakably delicious.

Have a great week, everyone!
